Well Happy New Year I guess? This is my first shoot of the year and It was a pretty good one. This was the first time I have shot Sam he is freshman photo major at UCM with me. I knew we could get something good in studio just playing with angles, lights and darks, and switching the lighting up constantly. It feels good to go in the studio and just do something again. Really excited to get shooting again. My last semester here is looking to be a busy one ! I have a collaborative shoot + gallery  show coming up soon so be on the lookout for all that madness as it is looking to be one hell of a shoot! :D

Well I’m horrible at updating this site. I have too many social networks to keep up with maybe I should dial it back? … NOOOOO that is silly. Well here is what I’ve been up to the last few months as far as photography goes. All the shoots were actually for my portfolio class … so they were all graded by one of my professors. I shot mostly in the KC/ Warrensburg area but the first shoot you see which I did with Nic Balducci was shot in Columbia.

It has been seriously a million and a half years since my last post. I apologize to “you all” for my lack of posting new images to this website. HOWEVER, with my gallery show out of the way I’m planning to maintain my blogging of new shoots! SO here is the first update.

ZIA!

Zia moved back to Warrensburg this year and she is in some classes with my roommate Courtney. Expect to see a lot more of Zia in the future. I have some ideas in my head for her white hair and killer style.

So I’ve been listening to my new favorite band a lot… Austra. (you must listen)

I have been planning this shoot for about 2 months and finally I got a time frame, models, and assistant together and spent a weekend prepping and finally shooting my one and only shoot of the summer. Hard work pays off.

Ok. So. First “blog” post? On this site at least it is. I am doing a big transition right now as far as roommates, getting a job, learning new things, and so on. ANYWAY I went home and shot Kinsey. DUH. Who else?

I forced her to buy the high waisted jeans at a resale shop in Columbia Mo. (I purchased them for her actually) they were $7.00. Nothing for the amazingness they are however the shoes are all Kinsey after she tried on Keely‘s Jeffrey Campbell Litas Kinsey was bouncing between Litas and the Fords.
